Skyseed, Bill McGuire

Mary Woodbury

November 25, 2021

‎Thanks so much to the author for letting me know about his novel Skyseed. Skyseed is an eco-thriller about climate engineering gone wrong, and the awful consequences for humanity and our world.

Reviews:

  • ‘Skyseed has what good thrillers always need…..a world to save, characters with a bit of go in them, some plausible villains, fast-paced action, sustained tension, a big moment of reckoning…..’Tim Radford, Climate News Network
  • ‘Terrific read, scary plot from volcanologist prof Bill McGuire. Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice…’ Roger Harrabin, BBC.
  • ‘One of the most remarkable books I have ever read.’  Reflections magazine.
  • ‘Bill McGuire’s speculative fiction  is timely and ice-crystal clear.’  Medium.com
  • ‘Absolutely, terrifyingly, utterly realistic. This is speculative fiction that will keep you up at night with its plausibility.
If you love speculative fiction, science fiction, drama, and thrillers, this book is one that needs to be at the top of your “Must Read” List for 2020 and 2021.’ Netgalley.
  • ‘This is not a story for the faint-hearted. I could hardly put it down…..’WordForest.org
  • ‘Prof. Bill McGuire’s spine-chilling story, closely mirroring current world events and realistically predicting the near future, shook me up well and hard.’ ReedsyDiscovery
