John Life is the pen name for a writer fascinated by returning eagles to Ireland and their struggles to breed while battling wildlife rivals and human predators in a land where their species had been extinct for over one hundred years. He also has a deep interest in alternative lifestyles and penned a novel around Christiania the freetown in central Copenhagen whose residents have been decoupling from the mainstream since the 1970s. He spends most of his life looking at the mists on the long lake in the west of Ireland. John Life works with a lose-knit cooperative of writers, who come and go together and will bring blogs, observations, novels and poems to the poor world.
