In my new quest to add more fungi fiction to the database, here’s a short story by William Hope Hodgson, which I read a few years ago when I began to read more ecologically weird fiction. You can read the story online here. Two men are sailing in the northern Pacific and hear a voice calling for help. A couple needs food after having shipwrecked and abandoned by a previous crew.
