The author, Noel Hodson, lives in Oxford, England. He wrote the seminal paper "The Economics of Teleworking" (BT Martlesham 1992) and edited and co-authored Teleworking Explained (Wiley & Sons 1993), leading to a career as a professional futurist and telework consultant to major employers in the UK and USA (see www.noelhodson.com). Recently he wrote an autobiographical work on acute shyness and social phobia, which is now being widely discussed, The Haunting of a Favourite Son (PublishAmerica) and is in the process of writing The Alchemist's Lad, in which Sir Isaac Newton learns of the Perils of Entanglement. He has also written The Chimney Pot People and other novels alongside textbooks about the Information Society.
