2050: A Future History – Series, J. Zornado

Mary Woodbury

March 24, 2016

Thanks to author J. Zornado, professor of English at Rhode Island College, for news of his trilogy 2050: A Future History. He writes:

The overarching narrative is a meditation on knowing.  It is also a projection about where things are headed from here, given our obsessions with AI, cloning, and life extension, infinite power, and so on. For a more detailed answer to what 2050 is,  I’ve written a bit about it on my blog, jzornado.com. At its heart, 2050 is a story about climate collapse and the post-human world, long after the die-off. Its hard science fiction (rather than romantic melodrama) informs the secondary world—it’s a materialist vision of cause and effect with an epic, character driven arc.

The trilogy is published by Merry Blacksmith Press.
